Welcome to Kitamura Support Forum. Registration is free and we're delighted to have you as part of our community. Here are the forum guidelines we ask you to abide by:

General Forum Etiquette

1. Respect. Please respect every and all members of the community. Any rude/hateful/derogatory/disrespectful comments targeted at any member will be removed. Attacking another forum member is the fastest way to get banned.

2. No Illegal Content. Play by the rules. Anything that is illegal (or even semi-illegal) or pornographic will be removed and you will be banned. If a spammer posts pornographic material, PM James, and he'll throw one of his Admin Ban Bricks at them. Permanently!

3. Censorship: We don't censor posts, but excessive profane, hateful, violent, vulgar, or racist content is prohibited. Moderator discretion will be exercised on a case-by-case basis. We censor swearing and sexual words, but, don't forget, there's a real company behind this forum, and we have a reputation to maintain.

4. No 'flaming'. Insulting other people is immature and lame. Flaming someone else doesn't add to the conversation and creates a toxic mood.

5. Use A Descriptive Title. "What cables do I use to connect my surround sound system up?" is a much better thread title than "Help ME!!!". Descriptive titles make the forum easier to navigate and read. The Moderators and Director reserve the right, and WILL modify your post description and/or title, should they feel it necessary.

6. Make Posts Legible. Itz h4rd 2 undrstnd txt lyke dis. Please use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your posts so everyone can understand you. "1337" speak is not allowed here, it's so 1990s.

7. Use Search. Please try to use the search button to find topics that might have been discussed earlier. This helps to keep the forum organized and we can all avoid the same old question: "How Do I Format my Hard Drive?".

8. Don't Act As A "Back Seat Moderator." Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Kitamura Moderator Team. Only do this if a Moderator team member has not replied within 6 hours. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly "act" as moderators may be warned.

Signature Guidelines

1. Maximum image dimensions are 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall.
2. Maximum signature image size is 40kb
3. Maximum of 1 image per signature
4. Signatures can be moderated at a staff member's discretion

We are interested in reading your posts, not your signatures. Long signatures clutter threads and create long load times for our members on slower modems.


Yuck. No one likes it. We don't tolerate spam and we operate a shoot to kill policy: if it looks like spam, we're deleting it. If the user who posted it keeps doing it, they get one of Tidus's Admin Ban bricks chucked at them, and they HURT!


At their discretion, forum staff may edit, move, or delete any content on the forum.

Forum staff may also administer temporary or permanent bans as needed.

Don't ask to become a Moderator. If we need more staff, we'll approach you.

By registering and posting, you hereby accept these terms. They were shown to you on registration.


1. Kitamura operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offenses in a three month period. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days.

2. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above.

3. Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the relevant team leader, e.g. if warned by a moderator you should contact James, who is the Administrator, Director and Moderator team leader. If after investigating the matter, he feels you were treated badly, he will remove a warning.

4. Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban. Circumvention includes posting as an anonymous user.

5. An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban and/or legal action.

6. Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While we may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.

This document is constantly updated by the Director on a regular basis, so ensure you keep yourself up to date with it.
